Seasons of Life is a public television series and audio/video college course that explores human development from the beginning of life to the end. Men and women in various stages of life offer their personal narratives, and more than 50 nationally known experts provide commentary.

 

Seasons of Life was funded by the Annenberg/CPB Project and produced by the University of Michigan and WQED/Pittsburgh. It premiered in the Fall of 1990.  Among the awards it received was the National Excellence in Media Award (Radio) of the American Psychological Association and the CINE Golden Eagle.

 


The Television Programs

 

The television series Seasons of Life is hosted by David Hartman, formerly of ABC's "Good Morning, America." It consists of 5 one-hour programs:

2. Childhood and Adolescence
3. Early Adulthood
4. Middle Adulthood
5. Late Adulthood


These programs can be viewed online at the Annenberg Media web site. You will need to sign in but there are no fees of any kind.
